It’s awesome that MoVernie will be kick starting the year of 2016 with a bang!
MoVernie will be on the MOVE on a media trip with Ford Canada to cover one of the biggest auto shows in the world, which is the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS), happening from January 11-24, 2016.
This is my second consecutive year covering this wonderful event. Thank you to Ford Canada for having me once again. Last year, I had a wonderful time on this media trip, it was definitely an eye opener.
Touring the historical Ford Piquette Plant where the Model T was manufactured was memorable, especially we got to have a nice cocktail party in this historical building. Then waking up early in the morning, went to the iconic Joe Louis Arena to watch Ford Motors unveiled its super car GT (see photo above) to the world was amazing. We were sitting in the same building as other well-established publications and well-known journalists. And to be able to stand in front of the super car after the presentation was magnificent.
Furthermore, we got to tour the manufacturing plant in Dearborn, witnessing the F-150 pickup being built from scratch in just minutes. It was special bonus when this F-150 won the North American International Auto Show Truck of the Year award.
Last but not least, being interviewed by a local TV station reporter on my experience at the North American International Auto Show as well as my impression of the Detroit City was definitely an unexpected moment.
It was a special year for Ford Motors in 2015! And it was a great year for the MoVernie brand!
I love surprises and I look forward to more surprises from Ford Motors at this year’s 2016 NAIAS. I wonder what’s in store for us? What new Ford vehicles being unveiled to the world this year? We will find out.
